November 12, 2017

The pastor to the stars Carl Lentz born November 6, 1984 in Virginia Beach, VA
Where he attended Frank W. Cox High School and found his love of basketball joining the varisty team. That would take him to North Carolina State and was a walk-on on their basketball team. Growing up, Carl went to a Baptist Church but was not particularly religious.

He would later go to the Hillsong International Leadership College in Australia but was overwhelmed by all the sudden life changes. He then returned to the United States and joined a Bible college in California, “the porn capital of the world,” he points out. It was at this time that Carl got his first tattoo, a sword on fire, on Sunset Boulevard.

A year later he went back to Australia to finish his bible studies and met his wife, Laura. Both Carl and Laura embrace a simple, dedicated faith in Jesus and are passionate about delivering the gospel in a method that makes sense to a generation that is desperately seeking a cause that is greater than themselves. Carl and Laura have three children under the age of 7.
Carl is a best selling author and international speaker who has found himself on the world's stage in a very Osteen way. Carl who works closely with the likes of Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Hailey Baldwin, and has ‘done some Trump White House stuff on the sly.’ Has found himself thrust into the media spotlight.

Much like everything this comes with its own set of good and bad situational circumstances. Of course the attention has garnered an increase in his book sales, and paid speaking engagements.

On the other, because he is a pastor, has he has found himself with an irry shadow over his life and words. People seem to think that because you are a pastor you must live this humble existence and shame those who live different. Instead this pastors popularity is centered around his acceptance and understanding of love. This however opens him up for attacks. However he seems to be taken this in stride and taking it to the bank.
