Besides, Charles started his youtube channel in December 2015 and has over one million subscribers. James created seven videos in between April and October 2014.

 James broke the record by becoming the first male spokesmodel for the major US cosmetics brand; Cover Girl. James has earned huge amount of money with makeup tutorials on youtube and being an Instagram star.

James is gay and he came out as early as at the age of 12. As far as we know, he never revealed the names of his boyfriends. Still, there are lots of rumors on the subject. For example, he was rumored to be dating Aaron Fuller among others.

 In March 2017, Charles caused controversy again when YouTube make-up artist Thomas Halbert posted screenshots of previous conversations with Charles where he admitted his rise to fame story was falsified. Charles originally claimed he had his high school prom photographs retaken with a ring light, however the conversation revealed that he had actually edited the photographs and contacted the photographer. Halbert later claimed he was wrong to post the screenshots online.
