Keemstar or DJ Keemstar is a famous online personality, YouTuber and a vlogger. He is has a YouTube show called ‘DramaAlert’, which is a news source on social interactions often within YouTube. Apart from this, he is also the founding member and a host of the Baited Podcast.

Keem was born on March 8, 1982, in NYC. His parents are Italian and Keemstar comes from an Italian, German and Dutch descent. He has two other siblings, a brother and a sister. Before becoming a full-time YouTuber, Keemstar was a lawyer. Keemstar was a former Twitch.tv livestreamer. Then in October 2009, he got his chance with his YouTube channel, XDJKeemstar. However, the channel was taken down by the platform in January, 2013, because he was playing Halo 3 under influence. Moreover, someone from the game session recorded him cussing about the game, and uploaded it on YouTube. But somehow, the people who uploaded this video contacted him and asked him to be a member of their channel,F.A.G (The Federation of Asshole Gamers) to make videos aimed at trolling the popular game, Halo. Keemstar own a house and living in Buffalo, New York.  His now functioning YouTube channel DramaAlert, was started as a platform to showcase the twitter wars between several YouTubers. It is now an extremely popular channel in YouTube with more than 2.9 million subscribers. Keemstar claims that he does not control the channel as he has been permanently banned from creating or handling a YouTube channel. He claims that an assistant handles the channel. But in August 2016, while conducting a livestream he went into the DramaAlert YouTube channel’s settings, revealing that he had the access to the channel all along, even after claiming he was banned.
